Product works as advertised. I have had no issues using this cable to console into Cisco devices. Works every time and is much simpler thaen the old USB to db9 cables. No need to have cisco console cable laying around as well.

I knew one day I would have to retire my old Prolific USB to RS232 Interface. When I got the above unit I was skeptical, but that skepticism turned to joy when this unit lived up to its plug-and-play action. It look me longer to configure Putty than it did to configure this device in Windows 10. The only issue

Instead of doing it traditional way I found the very solution its USB to RJ45 for console connectivity for almost every network switch and routers we have. I really love this product and recommend that every Network Engineer should have one.
